Hello! I’m Jingjin.
I’m a Human-Computer Interaction(HCI) and User Experience(UX) Researcher. I’m a research fellow at AImpower. I graduated from the Ph.D. program in information science at Cornell University in 2023, where I was advised by Dr. Gilly Leshed and fortunate to have Dr. Malte F Jung and Dr. Andrea Stevenson Won on my committee. Prior to Cornell, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2018.
HCI Research: My research interests lie in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), with a focus on Positive Computing. Specifically, my research aims to understand, design, and evaluate technologies to improve mental well-being, equity, and inclusion, including 1) technologies that support the mental well-being of the general population, and 2) inclusive and empowering social-technical systems for marginalized groups, improving their well-being and quality of life in daily interactions with technology.
Beyond Research: I enjoy capturing lovely moments through photography, and practicing yoga and meditation. My photography has been featured in the Cornell academic calendar and planner, as well as on Cornell's social media. I also served as a meditation guide for the “Let’s meditate” program at Cornell Health, where I helped the community discover the benefits of meditation.
